This policy explains how SELMACILEK Tekstil Ürünleri A.Ş. ("SELMACILEK", "we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit en.selmacilek.com, shop with us or contact us.

  • Payment details: payments are processed by our payment provider, iyzico. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar information collected through cookies.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have subscribed to our newsletter and how you use our discount codes.
  • Delivery and customs data: identification details that couriers or customs authorities may require to deliver your order.

3. Why we use it

  • To process, ship and exchange your orders, and to answer your questions (to perform our contract with you).
  • To send our newsletter and offers, only if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email (consent).
  • To keep our website secure, prevent fraud and understand how the site is used so we can improve it (our legitimate interests).
  • To meet our legal obligations, for example tax, accounting and customs rules.
  • To show you relevant advertising, where you have agreed to it through our cookie settings.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business: Shopify (our e-commerce platform), iyzico (payments), DHL and customs authorities (delivery), our email and marketing tools, and analytics and advertising partners such as Google. We may also share data with professional advisers or public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

We are based in Türkiye, and some of our service providers store data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. When data is transferred abroad, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires (for example, accounting records). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
